Nearly 400 people poisoned during a celebration in Turkey

Nearly 400 people sought medical help with complaints of poisoning after a celebration in the Turkish province of Bursa, the local health department reported.

"367 fellow citizens who were poisoned after eating chicken with rice at the event came to the Orhaneli hospital and a number of other institutions," the authorities' statement said, Turkish media report.

According to the department, 74 of those who sought help were ultimately hospitalized, most of them have already been discharged, and 23 people remain under medical supervision.
