Number of people injured in U.S. strike on wedding ceremony in Iran rises to 68

At least 68 people were injured and 5 killed as a result of the American strike on the site of a wedding ceremony in the city of Sirik in Iran.

This was reported by the Fars news agency, citing a representative of the Red Crescent.

It is noted that there are many children among those injured; the wounded have been taken to hospitals in Sirik and Minab.

Earlier, the United States Central Command reported carrying out a series of strikes on targets in Iran. According to the Press TV television channel, explosions rang out on the country's southern coast, including on the island of Qeshm and in a number of cities.
