SBU: FSB was preparing an assassination attempt on an opposition figure

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) announced that, together with the Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR), it had prevented a terrorist attack by the FSB.

This was reported by the SBU press service.

According to the agency, the assassination attempt was being prepared against one of the leaders of the Russian opposition national movement, who had arrived in Ukraine for Independence Day.
