Iran reports 11 dead after U.S. strikes on Khuzestan
Iran stated that 11 people were killed as a result of new U.S. strikes on the country's territory.
This was reported by state media following a missile attack on facilities in the southwestern province of Khuzestan.
The deputy governor of Khuzestan for security and law enforcement affairs said that seven people were killed and eight others were wounded as a result of the American strike on three facilities in the province.
"As a result of yesterday's U.S. missile strike on three facilities in the province, seven people were killed and eight were wounded," the state news agency IRNA reported.
Another five people, including a child, were killed earlier in an American attack on a wedding ceremony in the southern district of Sirik. More than 60 people were injured, the Iranian Red Crescent reported.
