Head of Russian Railways responds to Pashinyan's words about the company's "toxicity" for Armenia

Russian Railways (RZD) is strictly fulfilling the contract and the terms regarding the use of the railways, the head of the holding company, Oleg Belozerov, told Vesti.

"I cannot comment — all the more so on words. I don't quite understand what 'toxicity' means within the framework of contractual relations. We have a contract that we strictly fulfill. Moreover, we are fulfilling all our terms regarding the use of the railways, the transportation of all cargo; we have no restrictions whatsoever. Moreover, as an example, we cite our operations here in Russia, where our cargo moves practically without restrictions. Therefore, what the words may mean — I am not prepared to comment — I do not know," he said.

Belozerov noted that the holding company continues its stable operations in Armenia and that its indicators are improving.

Earlier, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that Russian Railways is "toxic for Armenia."
