A French team of referees has been appointed for the Manchester United vs Sabah match

The referees for the upcoming match of the opening round of the main stage of the Champions League in football between England's Manchester United and Azerbaijan's Sabah in Manchester have been announced.

As azerisport.com reports, Willy Delajod has been appointed as the head referee of the meeting; he will be assisted by linesmen Erwan Finjean and Valentin Evrard, as well as fourth referee Mathieu Vernice and VAR referee Jerome Brisard. The refereeing crew is from France.

The Manchester United – Sabah match will take place on September 10 at Old Trafford stadium and will begin at 23:00 Baku time.
