Media: U.S. attacked targets near Kharg Island and the city of Jask in Iran

The U.S. military carried out strikes on facilities near Iran's Kharg Island and the city of Jask.

This was reported by Fox News journalist Jennifer Griffin, citing sources.

"Senior U.S. officials told Fox that the U.S. military struck targets near Kharg Island and [the city of] Jask. Among the targets were Iranian oil tankers," she wrote on her page on the social network X.

Earlier, the Tasnim agency reported that the U.S. Armed Forces attacked an Iranian oil tanker that was in the anchorage area off Kharg Island. According to the agency, there were no injuries, and the crew is being evacuated.
