Pashinyan threatens to take away "even the shoes" of former officials
"I do not interfere in the affairs of the judiciary, but political responsibility rests on me. And I say that when the need for simulation disappears for Gagik Khachatryan, he will not just walk, he will run to check whether his pension has been transferred to him or not! The same applies to Robert Kocharyan."
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this at a briefing.
"I am the prime minister of the Republic of Armenia elected by the people, and I declare: everything stolen will be returned down to the last grain, grain by grain!
And by the way, you know that in the system of confiscating illegal property there is a provision according to which, in the event of a settlement agreement, 25% remains with them and 75% is returned. Well, I have given instructions to eliminate this provision. There will be no more 25%.
We gave them this chance, but over 8 years they did not take advantage of this chance, and now 100% must be returned! Legislative changes will be made in the near future, and this possibility of a settlement agreement will be eliminated.
They will return everything stolen, we will take even the shoes that were obtained by them illegally!
We are waiting! And let us recall that Robert Kocharyan moved to Armenia in worn-out sneakers and a Turkish sweater with deer on it," the Armenian prime minister said.
