Norwegian Princess Astrid dies two days after her brother's funeral

Princess Astrid, the sister of King Harald V of Norway, who died on August 28, has passed away in her 95th year.

This was stated in a message published on the website of the Norwegian royal house. It is noted that Princess Astrid died on Friday, September 11.

"His Majesty the King (Haakon VIII) has decided that today and on the day of the funeral the flags on the palace balcony will be flown at half-mast," the statement says.

On Wednesday, September 9, it was reported that King Harald V of Norway was buried in Oslo after a period of national mourning.
