James Eziashi: "I'm a guy from Bayil and I dream of playing for the Azerbaijani national team"

James Eziashi, a player for Qarabag's youth team (U-14), spoke in an interview with ASAN Radio about his roots, his soccer ambitions, and his respect for the Aghdam club's head coach, Gurban Gurbanov.

"My father is Nigerian, and my mother is Azerbaijani. I was born in Baku, I'm a guy from Bayil, and I know the Azerbaijani anthem by heart. As an Azerbaijani, I really want to play for the country's national team. My goal is to become the first Azerbaijani soccer player to play for PSG, Barcelona, or Real Madrid," the young forward said.

Eziashi also noted that his main current task is to break into the first team of the Aghdam club. According to the young player, he admires the work of Gurban Gurbanov and trains hard every day in order to play under his guidance in the future.
