Iran threatens to withdraw from the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons
Iran can easily withdraw from the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. According to Iranian media, this was stated by Abbas Goudarzi, a member of the presiding board of Iran's parliament.
In his words, trusting the United States is tantamount to agreeing to be deceived. The representative of the presiding board of Iran's parliament noted that only the logic of force works in relations with the United States, and that withdrawing from the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, as well as revising Iran's nuclear doctrine, are entirely possible and easily achievable steps.
It should be noted that the day before it was reported that a group of Iranian lawmakers had presented a plan to withdraw from the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, which is proposed to be considered on an urgent basis.
