Russian forces struck a truck near the Ukrainian-Polish border.
As Reuters reports, citing Polish and Ukrainian officials, the strike was carried out approximately 800 meters from Polish territory in the area of the Dorohusk-Yahodyn border crossing.
After the attack, operations at the border crossing were temporarily suspended, but traffic later resumed.
Russia's Ministry of Defense stated that the target of the strike was infrastructure used to transport military cargo from Europe to the western regions of Ukraine.
In recent weeks, Russian forces have intensified strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure near the borders with Poland, Romania, and Moldova.
