Trump criticizes the Supreme Court for striking down his executive orders

U.S. President Donald Trump has leveled harsh criticism at the Supreme Court, whose conservative majority he himself helped to form.

As TASS reports, he commented on Truth Social on the judicial body's decision to strike down his executive order on voting by mail.

The American leader criticized the justices for rulings issued in 2026 that resulted in the cancellation of his orders. Trump stated that three members of the court whose candidacies he had previously put forward are under the control of the Democrats. He did not name them. "These are not the people I personally interviewed when selecting candidates for the U.S. Supreme Court," the head of state wrote. "They are only a shadow of themselves. This is a court that is costing the U.S. trillions of dollars because of shockingly bad decisions, the scale of which is so great that it will not be easy for our country to recover or heal its wounds."

"This is a court that will go down in history as having issued some of the most destructive, painful and harmful decisions in the history of our country," Trump added. "It is not easy for me to write this criticism addressed to the U.S. Supreme Court. It will probably cost me dearly in the coming years, but I consider it my obligation and duty as president to do this for the sake of the America that we love!"

The American president criticized the Supreme Court for striking down his executive orders concerning "birth tourism" and the tightening of customs duties. "Some judges are terrified of these crazy and vicious Democrats and are completely incapable of showing the courage needed to save our America," he noted.
