Israeli soldiers abduct Iranian journalist

Israeli soldiers detained Nakka Hamed, a journalist with the Iranian television channel Press TV, in the West Bank, near Bethlehem.

The channel itself reported this.

According to one of Hamed's colleagues, Israeli soldiers detained the entire film crew and conducted a search. After that, the camera operators were released, while the journalist was taken away in an unknown direction.

Press TV recalled that Nakka Hamed had already been targeted twice while working in the West Bank.

In December of last year, the journalist was wounded during a live broadcast from the Qalandiya refugee camp.

The second incident occurred on August 6 of this year, when Hamed came under fire.
