Trump believes Iran wants to make a deal with him

U.S. President Donald Trump has once again suggested that he may soon end the conflict with Iran.

"I hope we are getting closer to ending the war. Iran wants to make a deal; we'll see how events develop," he told reporters in North Carolina.

Earlier, Trump suggested that he could reach an agreement with Tehran either immediately after the U.S. midterm elections scheduled for early November, or even shortly before the vote.
