Kremlin calls the adoption of the law on "hellish sanctions" in the U.S. unfriendly

The approval by the U.S. House of Representatives of a law on restrictions against Russia's oil and gas exports, which the press has characterized as "hellish sanctions," is an unfriendly action.

This characterization was given at a briefing by the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov.

"This falls under unfriendly actions," he pointed out.

According to him, the "hellish sanctions," if put into effect, will only complicate the search for a peaceful settlement of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

"Of course, the introduction of any additional sanctions on the part of the United States will definitely complicate efforts to find a peaceful settlement in Ukraine," Peskov noted.
