Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in connection with September 27 — Remembrance Day — honored the memory of the Azerbaijani servicemen who died in the struggle to liberate Karabakh from occupation.
As 1news.az reports, the Turkish leader wrote about this on his page on the social network X.
"On the occasion of the Remembrance Day of friendly and brotherly Azerbaijan, I remember with mercy the heroic martyrs who fought to liberate Karabakh from occupation and restore its freedom, and the veterans with respect.
Karabakh is the territory of Azerbaijan and will forever remain so," the post says.
