Pashinyan: The signing and ratification of the peace agreement with Azerbaijan must be among Armenia's priorities

The government of Armenia must bring society's trust in peace to its final result — the signing and ratification of the peace agreement.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at a government session.

"The economy is largely connected with people's expectations and moods. Economic indicators express confidence in peace. And this is despite the panicked assessments circulating in the news," the head of the Government said.

He assured that peace has already become a reality, but it has not yet been fully institutionalized. In Pashinyan's opinion, the government must live up to people's expectations and see the process through to the end.

"We have reached an intermediate stage. And this is an intermediate stage, not the final one. We must move toward the final stage," he added.

In the context of the need to sign and ratify the peace agreement, the head of the cabinet also mentioned the TRIPP project, the delimitation of the border, the opening of communications, the process with Turkey, the "North – South" highway, and the "Crossroads of Peace" concept.

Pashinyan called on members of the Government to begin forming political messages and strategies around this priority, focusing on real problems and practical solutions.

He emphasized that "daily information noise" must not distract the authorities from implementing the main task.
