ЮНЕСКО написала про красоты Шеки - ФОТО

«Шеки лежит у подножия гор Большого Кавказа, простираясь в долину реки в Азербайджане, и была международным центром по производству шелка в XIX веке. Его богатая история торговли и давнее наследие взаимосвязанных культур на Великом Шелковом пути нашли отражение в архитектуре города. Сефевидские, каджарские и русские строительные традиции сильно влияют на исторический центр Шеки».

Как сообщает 1news.az, в публикации на официальной странице ЮНЕСКО в Instagram говорится, что на северо-востоке города находится Ханский дворец, который включен в Список всемирного наследия наряду с историческим центром Шеки в этом году.

«Дворец Хана, с его двухэтажным зданием, имеет потрясающе богато украшенный интерьер и экстерьер и вызывает восторг посетителей. Этот прекрасный и симметричный шедевр с изображением множества торговых домов отражает богатство, полученное в результате разведения шелкопряда и торговли шелковыми коконами.

ЮНЕСКО стремится бережно относиться к этому объекту всемирного наследия, чтобы помочь сохранить его выдающуюся универсальную ценность.

Наш долг - защищать и сохранять все объекты всемирного наследия для будущих поколений», - говорится в публикации.

Once a stop on the fabled Silk Road, discover the picturesque city of Sheki. Sheki lies at the foot of the Greater Caucasus Mountains, extending into the river valley in Azerbaijan and was an international center for silk production in the 19th century. Its rich history in trade and the long-standing legacy of interconnected cultures along the silk road is strongly reflected in the city's architecture. Safavid, Qadjar and Russian building traditions are heavily influencing the historic center of Sheki. In the northeast of the city, one can find the Khan's palace, which has been isncribed on the World Heritage list along with the historic center of Sheki this year. The Khan palace, with its two-story building, has a breathtakingly ornate interior and exterior and will leave every visitor sppechless. This picture-perfect and symmetrical masterpiece and a number of merchant houses, reflect the wealth generated by silkworm breeding and the trade in silk cocoons from the late 18th to the 19th centuries. Its historic centre had to be rebuilt after the destruction of an earlier town by mudflows in the 18th century. UNESCO is committed to the careful management of this World Heritage site to help safeguard its outstanding universal value. It is our duty to protect and preserve all World Heritage sites for future generations.
