Gabala Hospitality Group Conducts Its Next Annual Tree-Planting Initiative
On 21 November 2025, Gabala Hospitality Group (GHG) carried out its next annual tree-planting initiative as part of its corporate social responsibility strategy.
Now a well-established tradition, this initiative reflects the Group’s commitment to environmental stewardship, ecosystem protection, and regional greening efforts.
Employees from all companies operating under GHG took an active part in the event, contributing collectively to a greener and more sustainable future. More than one thousand sycamore and maple trees were provided by the Forest Development Service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and planted, with expert guidance, across the forest-adjacent areas surrounding the Tufandag Winter-Summer Tourism Resort Complex.
During the event, GHG Chief Executive Officer Shabnam Ferman emphasized the importance of sustainability and social responsibility, stating:
“For us, protecting nature is not just a duty but a core value. Preserving the beauty of our region and passing on a healthy environment to future generations is an essential part of our mission. Such initiatives strengthen our bond with nature and reinforce our sense of collective responsibility. We are especially grateful to the volunteers who joined us for the first time this year — their participation made this initiative even more meaningful.”
The aim of the initiative extends beyond planting new trees: it seeks to enhance environmental awareness, foster appreciation for nature, and promote a culture of ecological responsibility within the community.
GHG plans to continue expanding its environmental projects in the coming years, contributing to the protection of the region's natural resources and supporting sustainable development.
