The U.S. Embassy in Baku has expressed its condolences to the Azerbaijani people on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.
A corresponding post has been published on the diplomatic mission's page on the social network X.
"Today, we join the people of Azerbaijan in honoring the memory of those who perished in Khojaly in 1992. On behalf of the U.S. Embassy in Baku, we extend our deepest condolences to the families and friends of those who lost loved ones. As we remember the victims, we are reminded of the importance of human dignity, compassion, and building lasting peace for future generations," the post states.
