Pashinyan Holds Security Council Meeting in Armenia on Events Concerning Iran
In Armenia, a meeting of the Security Council was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan against the backdrop of events concerning Iran, as reported by News.am.
The meeting was also attended by President of the Republic Vaagn Khachaturyan, Chairman of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan, Head of the Prime Minister's Office Arayik Harutyunyan, Deputy Speaker of Parliament Ruben Rubinyan, Head of the 'Civil Contract' parliamentary faction Hayk Konjoryan, and Chairman of the National Assembly Committee on Foreign Affairs Sarkis Khandanyan.
The Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Kristine Grigoryan, presented a comprehensive report on the events surrounding the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Middle East. Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan delivered a report on the activities of the interdepartmental working group formed by the Prime Minister's order.
Following the meeting, the Prime Minister issued necessary instructions. The participants expressed deep regret over the tragic events that occurred, extended condolences to the victims, and emphasized the need for the swift establishment of peace.
