Ararat Mirzoyan Calls Jeyhun Bayramov
On March 5, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan.
As reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, during the phone call, the ministers exchanged views on recent events occurring in the region. The parties expressed concern and highlighted the importance of refraining from steps that could lead to further escalation of tensions, emphasizing the need to ensure stability and security.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed his Armenian counterpart about drone attacks carried out on March 5 against the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, which resulted in damage to civilian infrastructure and injuries to civilians.
The ministers also underscored the importance of achieving sustainable peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan and exchanged views on matters of mutual interest.
