Defense minister: Territorial claims by Armenian opposition lead to a new war
Territorial claims put forward by opposition forces in Armenia against neighboring states will inevitably lead to a new war, stated Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan.
According to him, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has repeatedly stated in the past that the movement he currently leads will not be a continuation of the so-called 'Karabakh movement.' Meanwhile, the assessments of opposition forces boil down precisely to its continuation. 'All political assessments, no matter who they come from, must be responsible. It is also obvious that the belligerent rhetoric of some opposition forces will lead to war,' he said.
On March 19, Nikol Pashinyan stated that if other forces come to power, the peace agenda will be reconsidered, which is fraught with war.
