Rashad Hasanov appointed deputy minister of digital development and transport of Azerbaijan
In accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Rashad Hasanov has been appointed as the Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport.

It should be noted that Rashad Hasanov was born in 1987 in the Shamkir district.
From 2004 to 2008, he earned a bachelor's degree in International Economic Relations at Azerbaijan State University of Economics, and from 2009 to 2010, he obtained a master's degree in Economic and Financial Sector Management at the University of Glasgow (United Kingdom).
In 2016, he was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Economics from Deakin University (Australia).
Rashad Hasanov has worked as an economist at the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as an economist and chief economist at the Ministry of Finance of Australia, as a senior lecturer at ADA University, as a consultant and macroeconomist at the World Bank's office in Australia, and as an economist at the office of the UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan.
Since 2021, he has held the position of advisor to the Minister of Digital Development and Transport.
