Head of Turkey's Energy Ministry denies reports of gas supply halt from Iran
The head of Turkey's Energy Ministry, Alparslan Bayraktar, stated that there are no issues with gas supplies to the republic from Iran.
"Nothing of the sort is happening. There are no problems with natural gas supplies. Storage facilities are 71% full," he said, as reported by the television channel A Haber.
In this way, he commented on a related publication by the agency Bloomberg. It had previously reported, citing sources, that Iran allegedly halted gas supplies to Turkey after Israel struck the major South Pars gas field last week.
