International travelers in Zangilan
As part of a trip by international travelers through Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur, the delegation visited Zangilan.
The delegation is led by the founder and head of the NomadMania club, Harry Mitsidis, a British citizen of Greek origin.
As reported by the regional correspondent of AZERTAC, during their stay in Zangilan, the travelers will familiarize themselves with the work on the Goradiz-Agbend highway and railway.
It should be noted that the group consists of 79 people from 37 countries. This is the largest group of international travelers to visit Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur to date.
The NomadMania club divides the Earth into 1301 regions and compiles a ranking of travelers. H. Mitsidis has visited all these regions and currently holds the first place in the global ranking. The annual NomadMania meeting is being held in Azerbaijan for the first time.
This trip is of particular importance in terms of promoting the liberated territories within the framework of so-called black tourism, as well as for acquainting visitors with the large-scale creative and restoration works in the region.
Between 2020 and 2025, 15 trips to Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur have been organized through leading global travelers' clubs. The current trip is the sixteenth.
