On April 9, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Mustafa Çiftçi, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Turkey.
As reported by AZERTAC, expressing gratitude to the head of state for the reception, Mustafa Çiftçi conveyed greetings from President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to the President of Azerbaijan.
The head of state thanked for the greetings and asked to convey his greetings to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as well.
During the conversation, it was emphasized that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey are based on the principles of brotherhood and strategic alliance, and the expansion of relations in all directions was noted.
It was also highlighted that effective partnership has been established between the relevant agencies of our countries, and in this context, the successful cooperation between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan and Turkey was underscored.
