Iran demands compensation from five Arab countries 'for complicity in war' by the US and Israel
Iran demands compensation payments from Bahrain, Jordan, Qatar, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia 'for complicity in the war' by the US and Israel.
This was stated by Iran's Permanent Representative to the UN, Amir Saeed Iravani.
'Bahrain, Jordan, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia must fully compensate Iran for the physical and moral damage caused by their unlawful actions,' the diplomat said. His words were reported by the Tasnim news agency.
According to Iravani, the listed countries violated their obligations to Iran by becoming complicit in the conflict on the side of Washington and Tel Aviv.
In March, Iran's permanent representative sent a letter to UN Secretary-General António Guterres, in which he accused several Middle Eastern countries of allowing their territories to be used for American attacks on Iran. Iravani also stated that Tehran considers Ukraine complicit in hostilities due to the deployment of Ukrainian drone specialists to the Middle East.
