Iran reports strikes on U.S. warships in response to seizure of Iranian vessel
Iran's armed forces have announced strikes using unmanned aerial vehicles on American warships in response to the seizure of a vessel belonging to the Islamic Republic.
This was reported by the Tasnim news agency, citing a representative of the central headquarters 'Khatam al-Anbiya' of the Iranian Armed Forces.
According to the information, the vessel seized by American forces was traveling from China to the Gulf of Oman when it was fired upon in violation of the ceasefire regime, and its navigation system was disabled. In retaliation, Iran attacked U.S. ships using drones.
The representative of the central headquarters emphasized that the republic's armed forces intend to continue responding to 'piracy' and attacks from the American side.
