President: Azerbaijan has delivered 28,000 tons of cargo to Armenia
After achieving de facto peace, Azerbaijan unilaterally lifted all transit restrictions on Armenia that were imposed in the early 1990s.
So far, 28,000 tons of cargo have been delivered to Armenia through Azerbaijani territory.
This was stated by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev during a video address at the 8th Summit of the European Political Community, held in Yerevan.
"For the first time, we have started supplying our petroleum products, gasoline, and diesel fuel to Armenia, thereby initiating trade relations. At the moment, 12,000 tons of our petroleum products have been exported to Armenia," the head of state said.
