Pashinyan: Armenia purchases weapons from 6-7 countries
Armenia purchases weapons from 6-7 countries, said the head of the ruling Civil Contract party (the prime minister is on vacation) Nikol Pashinyan at a meeting with residents of Charentsavan.
"Modern weapons of foreign production will be presented at the parade. It is very important that we have diversified the sources of weapons procurement," he said.
According to him, it is important for Armenia to have a choice, which is why procurement is not limited to two or three countries.
During the parade, according to Pashinyan, modern weapons produced in Armenia will also be demonstrated.
At the moment, it is known about weapons purchases in Russia, France, India, China, Belgium.
Recall that earlier Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan stated that the May 28 parade on Republic Square in Yerevan will feature military equipment of Armenian production and military equipment in service with the Armenian Armed Forces — from drones and radar systems to communications equipment and others.
