Iran discusses with US mechanism for allocating funds to compensate for damage
Iran and the US are discussing through an exchange of messages a mechanism for allocating funds to Tehran to compensate for the damage caused during the war, which may be included in the final agreement.
This was stated by Esma'il Bagha'i, a representative of the Islamic Republic's Foreign Ministry.
"One of the points of the memorandum is the creation of the necessary conditions for recovery from the damage caused by the war. In connection with this issue, various options are being considered. One of the topics discussed during the negotiations is the allocation of a certain amount to compensate for the damage and carry out restoration work," he said during a press conference.
