Azerbaijan refuses to participate in Junior Eurovision 2026

Azerbaijan will not participate in the international song contest Junior Eurovision 2026.

Information about this previously appeared in a number of thematic publics and communities dedicated to the contest. It was reported that Azerbaijan refused to participate in the upcoming musical competition.

As it became known to 1news.az, this information is true.

In a comment to 1news.az, media head within the Azerbaijani delegation at the Eurovision contest Turab Teymurov confirmed that this year Azerbaijan will not be represented at Junior Eurovision.

The reasons for the decision have not been disclosed yet.
