Iran stated that it did not attack neighboring countries
Iran did not strike countries of the Persian Gulf; only U.S. military bases in the region were attacked.
This was stated at a briefing by the representative of the Foreign Ministry of the Islamic Republic, Esmaeil Baghaei.
"We did not attack any country in the region, and Iran's attacks were directed only at U.S. positions in the region," Baghaei said. He recalled that Tehran "repeatedly asked the countries of the region not to allow the U.S. to use their territory for an invasion of Iran."
