Romania shoots down second drone in two days in country's airspace

Romania has shot down a second drone in two days that violated the country's airspace in the Danube Delta region on the border with Ukraine.

President of the country Nicușor Dan reported this on his social media page.

He noted that the drone was shot down at 08:30 local time (9:30 Baku time) approximately 10 km west of the city of Sfântu Gheorghe.

The President of Romania emphasized that the drone was shot down using F-16 fighters. At the same time, the origin of the downed drone is not specified.

It is noted that the day before, the Romanian leader also reported the shooting down of a drone that illegally entered the country's airspace.
