Two killed, 24 injured in Russian armed forces shelling of Kherson region
Russian troops attacked 36 settlements in Ukraine's Kherson region with aircraft, drones and artillery over the course of a day.
This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, on social media.
According to him, two people were killed and another 24 were injured as a result of the Russian strikes.
"Residential areas, critical and social infrastructure facilities came under fire. Gas pipelines, a gas station, a church, shops, 18 apartment buildings, 17 private houses, an outbuilding, garages and cars were damaged," he clarified.
According to the head of the Kherson city military administration, Yaroslav Shanko, hits were recorded in five settlements: Kherson, Kamyshany, Antonovka, Priozernoye and Zimovy.
