Iran says US military infrastructure in Iraqi Erbil completely destroyed
Iran's armed forces have completely destroyed US military infrastructure in Iraqi Erbil.
As the Tasnim agency reports, this was stated by Iranian army spokesman Mohammad Akraminia.
He noted that most of the attacked American bases have lost effective operational capability:
"US infrastructure in Iraqi Erbil has been practically completely destroyed."
The US and Israel began an operation against Iran on February 28. In June, Washington and Tehran signed a memorandum of understanding providing for the immediate cessation of hostilities on all fronts, including in Lebanon. However, on the night of July 8, the US resumed large-scale strikes on Iran, accusing Tehran of violating the terms of the agreements reached regarding the Strait of Hormuz. Iran, in turn, again struck US military infrastructure in countries in the region.
