Zelensky: It is necessary to prevent large-scale ballistic attacks by the Russian Federation on Ukraine
The Russian army continues to launch massive strikes with ballistic missiles on the territory of Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
According to him, the Russian Armed Forces launched almost a hundred missiles of various types at Ukraine over the week, more than half of which were ballistic, 1,630 air bombs and 1,700 drones.
"Every day we work with partners so that our warriors have something to counter these strikes. It is necessary to disrupt Russia's bet on ballistic terror. And therefore it is very important that anti-ballistic packages arrive on time," the Ukrainian leader emphasized.
Zelensky also summed up the results of the nighttime Russian airstrikes: "In total, this night the Russians launched 8 missiles and 136 drones of various types at Ukraine. Many targets were shot down, but unfortunately not all. The Kherson, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv regions and Kyiv came under attack."
