FSB of Russia: Telegram founder charged, put on wanted list
Telegram messenger founder Pavel Durov has been charged in a criminal case under an article on aiding terrorist activities, the FSB of Russia reports.
According to the FSB, the Telegram messenger administration did not remove channels, chats, and bots actively used by Ukrainian special services for sabotage against Russia.
“Telegram administration head P. Durov has been charged in the framework of the investigated criminal case on the grounds of the crime provided for by part 1.1 of art. 205.1 (aiding terrorist activities) of the Criminal Code of Russia,” the message says.
