Jared Leto issues official statement following harassment allegations
American actor and musician Jared Leto has personally commented for the first time on the new harassment allegations made in the BBC documentary "Jared Leto: Hollywood's Dark Secret."
In the film, four women claim that between 2002 and 2016, when they were teenagers, J. Leto allegedly committed acts of a sexual nature against them. Among the allegations voiced are the alleged sexual assault of a 17-year-old girl, unlawful sexual relations with a minor, threats of sexual violence, as well as indecent phone conversations with a 16-year-old girl. The BBC states that it was able to corroborate the women's accounts with additional evidence, however the Associated Press notes that it was unable to independently verify these claims.
In response to the publication, the actor sent an official statement to the Associated Press in which he completely denied all the allegations.
"I have never in my life sexually assaulted anyone. These claims are absolutely and unequivocally false," Jared Leto stated.
It should be recalled that earlier, in 2025, nine women also accused the actor of inappropriate sexual behavior in a piece by Air Mail. At that time, a representative of J. Leto also categorically denied all the allegations.
