IRGC strikes American base Al-Azraq in Jordan

In response to U.S. attacks on the Islamic republic overnight into Thursday, the Iranian military carried out ballistic missile strikes on the American base Al-Azraq in Jordan, destroying three F-35 aircraft and several American servicemen, according to a statement by the press service of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

"In response to this crime and in order to help you free the Islamic land of Jordan from the oppression of the American occupiers, this morning IRGC forces attacked the parking area and the maintenance hangar of American F-35 fighter jets at the Al-Azraq air base with several ballistic missiles, completely destroying three F-35s and causing serious damage to three more aircraft," the IRGC statement says, as quoted by Iran's state television and radio broadcasting company.

Earlier, Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that the U.S. Armed Forces had completed another wave of strikes on Iran overnight into Thursday, hitting dozens of targets in the Islamic republic, including military command centers, missile and drone weapons facilities, coastal surveillance and defense posts, as well as sea-based facilities.
