Islamic center shot at in Canada
An Islamic center came under attack by unidentified individuals in Winnipeg, Canada.
This was reported by the CBC television channel.
The incident occurred on Thursday night. According to data obtained from surveillance cameras, two unidentified individuals drove up to the center's building and fired at it. Later, two unidentified individuals also approached the same building and broke several windows in it.
Representatives of the center stated that people were inside the premises at the time of the attack. They were not injured. An investigation has been launched.
On Monday, it was reported that in Toronto unidentified individuals fired at a chain of Jewish-owned bakeries. Police launched an investigation into the crime committed on the grounds of hatred. Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow characterized what happened as antisemitic actions and called them "vile and unacceptable."
