Drone attack on oil refinery in Ufa and industrial facilities - video
In the night of August 1, 2026, a large-scale attack by unmanned aerial vehicles on industrial and energy facilities in a number of Russian regions and territories under its control was recorded.
In Ufa, as a result of a drone strike, a fire broke out on the territory of one of the three large oil refineries of the Bashneft complex, due to which flights were temporarily restricted at the local airport.
At the same time, a fire broke out in Tatarstan at the polystyrene production line of the Nizhnekamskneftekhim enterprise, which, according to the company's press service, was extinguished by morning without any casualties.
Besides that, energy infrastructure facilities in Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions were subjected to strikes.
The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that 274 Ukrainian drones were destroyed by on-duty air defense systems overnight.
