Media: Ukraine is experiencing an acute shortage of missiles for air defense

Ukraine's Armed Forces have faced a catastrophic shortage of missiles for air defense systems.

This was reported by The Washington Post (WP).

The publication noted that Patriot systems are the Ukrainian Armed Forces' only hope for countering Russian missile attacks. At the same time, the newspaper emphasized, there is a "catastrophic shortage" of interceptor missiles for air defense systems, since their already limited number has been reduced because of the U.S. war with Iran.

Ukrainian authorities regularly complain about a shortage of ammunition for air defense systems and ask Western countries to increase deliveries of the corresponding weapons.
