Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey accuse Israel of violating the truce in Gaza

Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey, which are acting as mediators in settling the conflict in the Gaza Strip, strongly condemned Israel's actions in the enclave, calling them a direct violation of the cease-fire agreement.

This was stated in a joint statement by the three states.

"The continuation of these violations constitutes a failure to comply with the agreement and undermines efforts to implement its second stage, especially after the Hamas movement and Palestinian factions announced their agreement with the road map, in particular on the issue of control over weapons," the document published by Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs notes.

The mediating countries condemned the continuing strikes by Israeli forces on the Gaza Strip, pointing to the inadmissibility of attacks on medical facilities and the deaths of civilians. They called for ensuring full protection of the civilian population, medical personnel, and humanitarian workers, as well as for guaranteeing unimpeded access of aid to all areas of the enclave.

In addition, Doha, Cairo, and Ankara called on the international community to put pressure on Israel to fulfill its obligations. In their opinion, this is necessary to complete the implementation of the peace plan of the U.S. president, who earlier called the achievement of consensus on the second stage of the deal a "historic agreement."
