34-year-old UFC fighter Allan Nascimento found dead

Brazilian mixed martial arts fighter Allan Nascimento, who competed in the flyweight division under the UFC banner, has passed away at the age of 34.

This was reported by the organization's press service on social media.

"Yesterday morning, Monday, August 3, our beloved flyweight fighter Allan Nascimento was found with no signs of life after a suspected heart attack in his sleep. Despite the efforts of the medical team that arrived, his death was pronounced at the scene. During this incredibly difficult time, we extend our sincere condolences to Allan's family, friends, teammates and all those close to him," the official UFC statement said.

Over the course of his MMA career, he fought 29 times, winning 22 bouts and suffering seven defeats. A little more than a month ago, on June 20, the Brazilian had his last fight at the UFC Vegas 119 event, where he lost to Mitch Raposo by split decision.
