Serviceman opens fire near Sevastopol, four people killed
A serviceman opened fire near Sevastopol, killing a fellow serviceman and three civilians, with several people wounded and the attacker detained, the region's governor Mikhail Razvozhayev reported.
"An emergency occurred in the village of Khmelnitskoye. According to preliminary data, a serviceman opened fire on his fellow servicemen. As a result, one person was killed and one was wounded. After that, the attacker wounded three more people in the village of Khmelnitskoye and killed three civilians: two men aged 71 and 59 and a woman aged 64," he wrote in his channel on the Max platform.
The attacker has been detained, the governor noted. Emergency services, investigators, and forensic experts are currently working at the scene. All the circumstances and causes of the incident are being established.
