Defendant escapes from courthouse in Yerevan

A defendant escaped from the courthouse of Yerevan's Nor Nork administrative district.

This was reported by the crime news website Shamshyan.com.

According to the outlet, the incident occurred on August 3. The accused was brought to the court to take part in a hearing, but he managed to flee. The circumstances of the escape have not yet been disclosed.

Police officers are currently carrying out investigative and search operations to determine the whereabouts of the fugitive and detain him.

A similar incident occurred earlier in the Shirak region. At that time, the accused broke a window of the courthouse and fled, but was subsequently detained. After the escape, additional charges were brought against him.
