Air India plane hit severe turbulence: passengers and crew members injured

An Air India airliner flying from Thailand to India encountered severe turbulence while descending ahead of landing in Delhi.

Although the landing was successful, 10 passengers were injured, including a child, as well as two crew members. All of the injured were taken to medical facilities.

One of the passengers said that during the descent the plane sharply banked and continued moving in that position for several minutes.
